DUBLIN, IRELAND – Oba (Dr.) Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle MFR, Asade Agunloye IV, the Olu of Ilaro and Paramount Ruler of Yewaland, and Oba (Professor) Adeyemi Abdukabir Obalanlege, Lanlege Ekun II, the Olota of Ota, came together with the Ogun State indigenes in Ireland, to partake in the 2023 Ogun Day Celebration.
The three days grand event took place between October 20 and 22, 2023 at the Phillo Hotel in Ashbourne, Dublin.
The central theme of the occasion was “Industrialization and Security as the Tool for Economic Growth,” thoughtfully organized by the Association of Ogun State Indigenes (AOSII), Ireland.
The event’s organizers articulated their intent behind this gathering, emphasizing the goal of celebrating the rich cultural heritage of the Ogun people.
They also sought to amplify the global visibility of the Gateway State and, significantly, to align with the developmental vision of the Executive Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun CON.
