In his ongoing commitment to celebrating his unique heritage, His Royal Majesty, Alayeluwa Oba (Dr.) Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle, MFR, the Olu of Ilaro and Paramount Ruler of Yewaland, honored the 2024 Igboora World Twins Festival with his presence.

Oba Olugbenle attended the vibrant event, held at Methodist Grammar School, Saganun, Igboora, Oyo State, on Saturday, October 12, 2024, as the esteemed Royal Father of the Day.

The Igboora World Twins Festival is a renowned cultural celebration that highlights the town’s extraordinary twin birth rate, which is among the highest in the world.

Each year, the festival brings together thousands of twins from across the globe in a stunning display of cultural pride and unity.

The event is a colorful blend of traditional performances, communal gatherings, and festivities that honor the town’s rich history of twin births.

During the event, Oba Olugbenle, who also serves as the Chairman of the Ogun State Council of Obas, delivered a poignant message to parents in attendance.

He emphasized the importance of caring for children from birth through adulthood, urging parents to guide and nurture their children so they can grow into responsible and successful individuals.

Oba Olugbenle’s words served as a reminder of the significant role parents play in shaping the future of their children.

The Paramount Ruler also took the opportunity to specifically praise the parents of twins, recognizing the unique challenges and joys that come with raising two children at once.
