Oba Olugbenle Celebrates Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, on His 50th Birthday (+photos)

ILE-IFE, OSUN STATE, NIGERIA – Oba (Dr.) Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle, FNIVS, FNIM, RSV, D.Sc., D.Litt., the Olu of Ilaro & Paramount Ruler of Yewaland, and Chairman of the Ogun State Council of Obas, joined other royal fathers, friends, and family to celebrate the 50th birthday of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi.

The celebration began at midnight between October 16 and 17, 2024, with vibrant fireworks that lit up the skies of Ile-Ife. The display, accompanied by the cheering of excited youths from Ile-Ife and surrounding areas, marked the beginning of the golden jubilee celebrations for the Ooni.

Oba Olugbenle was also present at the special reception and the unveiling of the Ojaja Cinemas, held at the Ojaja Event Ground in Ile-Ife.

The event, which honored His Excellency Babatunde Raji Fashola (BRF) with a short documentary, was one of the highlights of the celebration.

In his message to Ooni Ogunwusi, Oba Olugbenle extended his heartfelt wishes, congratulating the Oonirisa and Arole Oduduwa on his 50th birthday.

He prayed for continued good health and many more years of service to the Yoruba race, the nation, and humanity.
