NIPR, Ogun Chapter Honours Aluko, Others to

ABEOKUTA – The Ogun State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, decorated the outgoing Rector of the Polytechnic, Ilaro Arc. Olusegun Aluko, Ph.D with the honour – “Outstanding Corporate Good Governance Award”.

The colorful event which took place at the PARK INNS (formerly Ogun State Hotels), Abeokuta was in recognition of the various achievements of Arc. Aluko during his 8years tenure as Rector.

Five others, including the immediate past Rector, ICT Igbesa, Engr. Dr. Funke Akinkurolere and the outgoing Vice Chancellor of FUNAB, Professor F. K. Salako.

The occasion was graced by dignitaries such as the state Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun who was represented by the State Commissioner for information, Alhaji Waheed Odusile, former Governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel (aka OGD) amongst others.

In the entourage of Arc. Aluko, who the organizers described as “The Game Changer”, to the event included the Deputy Rector, FPI Principal Officers, Deans among others.
