Joseph Aloba, father of the late Nigerian musician, Ilerioluwa, also known as MohBad, has indicated that the matter of conducting a DNA test on his grandson will be addressed at the appropriate time.
Mohbad’s father expressed this during an interview with the BBC Pidgin programme, that the controversy surrounding the DNA test for MohBad’s son has transcended national borders and has now become an international concern.
Aloba emphasized the importance of taking the right steps regarding the DNA test when the timing is appropriate.
He stated, “This issue has gained widespread attention, not limited to Nigeria alone. Therefore, the correct procedure should be followed at the right moment.”
It is worth noting that the question of the paternity of MohBad’s five-month-old son has generated discussions since the musician’s passing.
Some social media users have called for the late rapper’s wife to undergo a DNA test to address doubts about her loyalty to MohBad.
MohBad’s father also highlighted the strong bond he shared with his son, describing their relationship as one of close companions who interacted like brothers.
