SAGAMU – Nigerian youths have been charged to engage in positive ventures capable of making them self-reliant, as well as desist from any acts, that can tarnish their image and that of the country.
According to a release jointly e-signed and made available to StarTrend Int’l & online – www.startrendinternational.com by Iyabo Araba & Olusola Ayoola, Zonal Information Officers, Sagamu LG., the, Chairman, Sagamu Local Government, Hon. Jubril Odulate gave this charge in his office, while playing host to members of Sagamu Youth Association, urging them to always imbibe good attitudes which could enhance the socio-economic growth of the State.
“I want to use this opportunity to encourage you to be good ambassadors of this country wherever you find yourselves. The future of this country lies in our hands, let’s build our future together”, he said.
Odulate advised them to shun all social vices which could ruin their bright future, encouraging them to participate actively in politics, in order to take leadership roles and contribute their quota to the development of the country.
Speaking earlier, the President, Sagamu Youth Association, Comrade Sikiru Olusegun, appreciated the Chairman for identifying with the Association, pledging the body’s support to the government for a successful tenure.
