Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, Praises Citizen For Returning Deceased Father’s Salary To State Government

KANO – Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has praised Yusuf Sulaiman Sumaila for his integrity in returning the salary received through his deceased father’s account to the state government. Sumaila’s father passed away in October 2022, yet the state government continued to deposit his salary until August 2023.

Upon discovering the situation, Sumaila promptly notified the government of his father’s passing and returned the sum of N328,115.75 to the government.

The governor personally commended Sumaila for his honesty and invited him to his office to express his appreciation.

Governor Yusuf lauded Sumaila’s exceptional act of honesty and encouraged other young people to follow his example and uphold the value of integrity.
