ILARO-YEWA, OGUN STATE, NIGERIA – The Istijabat Association of Nigeria, Ilaro-Yewa, Ogun State, on the afternoon of Thursday, March 13, 2025, carried out its annual Ramadan Prayer visit to the households of Elhadj (Otunba) Abu-Satar Idowu Hamed, the Otun Baaroyin of Ilaro-Yewa, and his younger brother, Chief Sebili Alao Hamed, Chairman of the Tailoring Association of Nigeria (TAN), Ogun State Chapter. The visit took place at their residence in Ilaro-Yewa, Ogun State.
Under the leadership of their late Founder and Missioner, Alhaji (Imam) Abdul-Wasiu Ajani Sulaimon, also known as T’Olorun Lase, the group gathered to offer prayers for the Hamed family, including their wives, children, grandchildren, and relatives, in commemoration of the 2025 Ramadan fasting period.
Expressing gratitude to Allah for His continued protection over the family since their last visit, Alfa [Name], also known as [Alias], and his team of Alfas conducted a special recitation from the Holy Quran.
They fervently prayed for sustained blessings and protection throughout the Ramadan season and beyond for the Hamed families residing within and outside Nigeria.
Chief Sebili Hamed, also Chairman of the Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria, Ilaro-Yewa Branch, thanked members of the Istijabat Association of Nigeria for their unwavering love and ongoing prayers. He invoked blessings, guidance, and protection upon them and their families.
In a gesture of appreciation, Elhadj (Otunba) Abu-Satar Hamed, Publisher/Editor-in-Chief of StarTrend Int’l magazine and online platform, expressed gratitude to the association for their consistent annual visits and prayers.
He lamented the sudden passing of Alfa T’Olorun Lase, the organization’s Founder and Missioner, who died on June 2, 2024, after a brief illness. His death was described as a painful and sad loss to the Hamed family.
Elhadj (Otunba) Hamed prayed for God to grant the deceased eternal rest and Aljanat Fridaus, while also praying for fortitude for the family, members of the Istijabat organization, friends, and relations to bear the irreparable loss.
The prayer session concluded with Islamic hymns sung by the members, fostering a sense of spiritual unity and community among all participants.
