ILARO-YEWA, OGUN STATE, NIGERIA – The Chief Imam of Ilaro Central Mosque, Imam (Sheik) Tajudeen Mustapha-Adewunmi, has announced the forthcoming turbanning ceremony of distinguished personalities appointed to key religious positions within the mosque.
Those to be turbaned include Elhadj (Otunba) Abu-Satar Idowu Hamed as Otun Baba Adinni of Ilaro Central Mosque; Alhaja Aduke Tijani as Borokini Adinni of Ilaro Central Mosque; and Fadeelat (Sheik) Mustapha Sanni Yinus Akasoloriro as Grand Mufasir of Ilaro Central Mosque.
The ceremony is scheduled to hold on Saturday, February 7, 2027, and will commence at 10:00 a.m. at the Ilaro Central Mosque premises, Ona-Nla Quarters, Ilaro-Yewa, Ogun State.
According to a letter personally signed by the Chief Imam and addressed to the recipients of the honours, their appointments were based on their proven transparency in religious obligations and their immense contributions to the growth and development of Islam.
Imam Mustapha-Adewunmi urged the honourees to remain steadfast in their faith and to continue contributing meaningfully to the propagation and advancement of Islam.
