IJEBU-ODE LG TO BUILD PRIMARY HEALTH CARE CENTRE IN SABO

IJEBU-ODE – The authority of Ijebu-Ode Local Government of Ogun State has signified its intention to construct a Primary Healthcare Centre (PHC), in Sabo Molode Community Area, to make health care services closer to the people.

The Transition Committee Chairman of the council area, Engr. Olugbenga Olugbile made this known during an inspection visit to the site of the proposed project, saying the healthcare centre would be completed within a short period of time.

Engr. Olugbile stated that his administration was determined to make residents enjoy dividends of democracy, especially in infrastructural development and affordable healthcare delivery, towards improving their wellbeing.

He appreciated Governor Dapo Abiodun for approving the construction of the Centre, soliciting the support and cooperation of members of the community.

In his remark, the Head of the community, Chief Kayode Baoku commended the efforts of both State and Local Governments for situating the project in the area, noting that it would enable the people to have access to quality healthcare.

“We are happy with Governor Abiodun because he has promised to develop the grassroots, and grateful to our Transition Chairman for locating the healthcare centre in the community. This would go a long way to serve our people”, Baoku said.
