Ibese-Yewa Stool: Olokojobi Ruling House Disowns Aboro, Writes Police Amidst One Year Coronation Anniversary

IBESE-YEWA – The Olokojobi Ruling House of Ibese in Yewa North local government of Ogun State have disown the present traditional Ruler in the town.

According to a petition written to the Police amidst the one year coronation anniversary of the Aboro of Ibeseland, Oba Rotimi Mulero, the statement alleged that “Mr. ROTIMI MULERO is not from the Olokojobi Ruling House.”

The letter dated 29/07/2023 was written and submitted to the Police Divisional Headquarter, Imasayi, Yewa North area of Ogun State.

A copy of the letter titled “NOTICE OF DISCLAIMER” and made available to the media reads;

“I hereby write on behalf of the Olokojobi Ruling House, Ibese, to notify you of the brewing intention of Mr. ROTIMI MULERO, the acclaimed Oba of Ibese’s intention to invade the ancestral compound of the Olokojobi Ruling House as part of the activities lined up to mark his coronation anniversary.

Sir, we make bold to declare that:

i. Mr. ROTIMI MULERO is not from the Olokojobi Ruling House.

ii. Because he is not from the ruling house, he cannot be allowed to have access to any of our properties or use them for any purpose.

iii. We shall strongly resist any attempt by Mr. ROTIMI MULERO to infiltrate the said compound without hesitation.

iv. The police is hereby duly informed that Mr. ROTIMI MULERO is about to destroy the fragile peace in Ibese if the brewing intention is true.

It would be recalled that the activities lined up to mark the one year coronation anniversary of Aboro of Ibese-Yewa, Oba Rotimi Mulero commenced on Friday, July 28, 2023 in the town.
