ILARO-YEWA: The Chairman/CEO, IBD Group of Companies, Alhaji Ibrahim Egungbohun, fondly called IBD has described members of the Recreation Club, Ilaro as reputable and disciplined citizens.
IBD made this statement recently when members of the club presented him with a congratulatory card on the occasion of his 50th birthday anniversary which took place on Saturday, March 8, 2020 at the Yewa Frontier Hotel, Ilaro-Ibese-Yewa Road, Ilaro, headquarters of Ogun West.
The renowned business guru said that he has been relating with the club for decades, saying, “Members of the club are nice and understanding people who have been tried and tested in their various endeavours also described Ilaro as a peaceful and blessed environment with lovely people.
Alhaji Egungbohun expressed his gratitude to God for attaining the age of 50years, while he prayed that God grant him the grace to celebrate many good years in the land of the living.
IBD also thanked family, friends and well-wishers that made his 50th birthday celebrations a huge success.
Speaking on behalf of the Club’s President, Pastor Wale Olaode, the Vice President of the club, Mr. Tajudeen Adeagbo said members of the club are appreciative of Alhaji Egungbohun’s continued support towards the progress of Recreation Club, Ilaro.
Adeagbo recalled the Table-Tennis Hall donated to the club by IBD, some years back and prayed that God continued to guide and protect him and his family.
Earlier in his speech, the Director of Media & Strategy for the club, Elhadj AbuSatar Idowu Hamed who is also the Publisher/Editor-in-Chief, StarTrend Ibt’l magazine & www.startrendinternational.com eulogised the virtues of Alhaji Egungbogun, saying IBD is one of the sons of Ogun West that has continued to support the youths, the aged and other vulnerable people of the area.
AbuSatar also commended the support IBD has been giving to Recreation Club, Ilaro, adding that as Oliver Twist that always wants more, the club will also appreciate if the humble and noiseless philanthropist could assist the club in putying in place more projects for the use of humanity.
He however invited him to find time out of his tight schedule to recreate with members of the club after the COVID 19 pandemic.
Also, the Chairman of Yewa Zone of the Police Community Relation Committee (PCRC), Chief Shafarudeen Popoola used opportunity of the occasion to present form of PCRC Digital National Indentity Card to Alhaji Ibrahim Egungbohun who is a staunch member of the association.
Chief Popoola while presenting the form thanked IBD for his continued unflinching support to PCRC in its quest to reduce crime in the area.
IBD’s 60th birthday was graced by creme of the society that came from far and near to honour the humble and respected business mogul on his day.
