EBUTTE-IGBOORO, YEWA NORTH L G, OGUN STATE, NIGERIA – In his characteristic style of celebrating the annual IBD Eid-Adha (Ileya) Festival Jamboree, the prominent business tycoon and socialite, Alhaji (Chief) Ibrahim Dende Egungbohun, the Oluomo of Yewaland, once again spread joy to children and indigent students during this year’s Eid-al-Adha celebration.
The festive celebration held on Friday, June 6, 2025 (Ileya Day), at Ebutte-Igbooro in Yewa North Local Government Area of Ogun State, was vibrant and impactful.
The event, hosted by the IBD Foundation, featured an exciting lineup of activities, including entertaining games, interactive educational quizzes, and generous gift distributions to the young attendees.
Anchored by Mrs. Judith Omolara Egungbohun, the IBD Foundation ensured that children received essential school materials, including books, writing tools, and backpacks. This effort helped prepare them adequately for their academic pursuits.

The celebrations continued into the second day of the festival, Saturday, June 7, 2025, as IBD Dende, as he is fondly called, opened the gates of his magnificent residence in Ebute-Igbooro to friends, business associates, community members, and well-wishers from far and near.
Guests were treated to a rich blend of traditional and cultural performances by artistes and musicians from within and beyond the community.
The atmosphere was festive, reinforcing the cultural relevance and communal spirit of the celebration.
