LAGOS – In its quest to to cushion the negative effects of the Covid-19 on the economy of , Nigerians, Dangote Cement has made 60 new millionaires in one month through its Bag of Goodies promo Season 2.
According to the management of the foremost cement company, no palliative could be better than the prize money its customers made in the promo in this Coronavirus pandemic period.
Mrs. Funmi Sanni, the company’s Director of Marketing, explained that the promo was deliberately designed to cushion the negative effects and impact of COVID-19 on businesses and families.
She said the promo is expected to produce more winners in the coming weeks.
Mrs. Sanni said the 60 winners included 35 customers who had been presented with their symbolic cheques where their accounts were credited with N1 million each.
The presentation ceremonies were held in several cities across the nation, and the remaining winners will receive alerts this week, Dangote Cement said.
Mrs. Sanni, who spoke at a prize presentation ceremony in Kano, said a customer would win the N1 million cash prize on collection of the scratch cards that carry letters D, A, N, G, O, T and E to spell the company’s name.
