LAGOS, NIGERIA – Attendees to the GTCO Food & Drink Festival have applauded the organisers for delivering a superlative and highly entertaining event, distinguished by its unique blend of food, culture and lively entertainment tailored for fun seekers.

The two-day festival took place in Victoria Island, Lagos State, from Saturday, December 20 to Sunday, December 21, 2025, drawing large crowds of young people and adults who cherish fine cuisine and vibrant social experiences, especially those seeking a perfect avenue to unwind during the yuletide season.

The annual GTCO Food & Drink Festival is a food exhibition and sales event designed to showcase the diverse facets of the food industry.

It connected businesses involved in the production and sale of food-related products with a cosmopolitan audience of food enthusiasts, while celebrating culinary creativity and enterprise.

From classic comfort foods to innovative culinary twists, the festival offered an abundance of mouth-watering recipes, taking visitors on a delicious journey that celebrates the warmth and richness of homemade meals.

Beyond gastronomy, the GTCO Food & Drink Festival served as a vibrant hub of ideas and inspiration for both thriving and aspiring food entrepreneurs in Nigeria.

It also provided a unique platform for participants to connect with Guaranty Trust’s financial services and explore opportunities for business growth.

The food and drink rendezvous also became a moment of testimonials, as attendees showered encomiums on the organisers, GTCO, for consistently raising the bar.

“This is a lovely experience – nice, vibrant, everybody is together, with very good food. I have never been to a place like this and I am really enjoying myself. I learnt this year is better than last year, and I want them to keep it up and keep improving”, said Busi Oluwa, a UK-based student, expressing deep appreciation to GTCO for organising the event.

Another student echoed similar sentiments, “I normally look forward to the event. Twice every year, we gather like this – the food and everything. I am very excited. My expectations were met; I saw the advertisement, came, and it was exactly what I expected.”

Attendees also described the 2025 edition of the GTCO Food & Drink Festival as a veritable platform for business promotion, while commending the organisers for creating an enabling environment for entrepreneurs to thrive.

“We do drinks and cocktails, and everything on our menu is basically signature. If you don’t get it here, you can’t get it anywhere else. What we offer is purely signature and all organic,” one of the exhibitors explained.

“We have sweet and sour made from sugar and lime, lemonade blends that are almost medicinal, and several other unique drinks in our bouquet”, the exhibitor added, highlighting the creativity and originality that defined the event.
