Governor Makinde Felicitates New Eleruwa Of Eruwa, Assured Completion Of Ido-Eruwa Road Within One Year

ERUWA, OYO STATE, NIGERIA – The Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, has congratulated His Royal Majesty, Oba Samuel Adebayo Adegbola, Ajobo Olurin I, on his coronation as the Eleruwa of Eruwa.

Governor Makinde also extended his heartfelt congratulations to the people of Eruwa during the coronation ceremony held on Saturday, June 27, 2025, in Eruwa, in the Oke-Ogun area of Oyo State.

Reassuring the people of his administration’s dedication to infrastructure development in the region, the governor declared: “I’m using this opportunity to assure the good people of Eruwa and Ibarapaland that we will speed up on completing the 48 km Ido–Eruwa Road within one year.”

Governor Makinde further announced that construction work would soon begin at the Oyo State Agribusiness Transformation Centre in Eruwa: “Also, the contractor will be moving to the site at the Oyo State Agribusiness Transformation Centre, Eruwa, within the next few weeks, as we have completed the process with the African Development Bank, which is involved in the project.”

Concluding his address, Governor Makinde offered prayers for the new monarch and the community: “May Kabiyesi’s reign be prosperous and long, and may our state and country benefit from his rulership.”
