ABEOKUTA: On the occasion of his 60th birthday on Friday, May 29, 2020, Youths in Ogun have described Gov. Dapo Abiodun as a quintessential leader whose leadership skills needed to be emulated.
Comrade Alamu Oluseyi, the President, Ogun Youths Advocate for Unemployment (OGYA) , stated this in a statement issued in Abeokuta on Monday.
The group mentioned youth developement programme as one of the numerous iconic achievements of Abiodun which required recommendation.
Alamu noted that the empowerment programmes initiated by the current administration under the leadership of Gov. Abiodun had given hope to thousand of youths for sustainable income.
His words, “Prince Dapo Abiodun have contributed tremendously towards youths developmental projects in various areas in Ogun State. It is our great joy to witness series of laudable government intervention projects in Agriculture in the state and the various empowerment programmes that are giving hope to thousand of our youths for sustainable income and job creation.
OGYA described Governor Abiodun as a humble leader with landmark achievements.
Alamu said the Governor had demonstrated an exceptional passion for the socio-economic development of the country and wellbeing of Ogun people.
“You started with humility and landmark achievements as a great entrepreneur decades ago with proofs and you have shown capacity in your noiseless excellent achievements in building Our future together agenda.
“Men of power are feared, men of fame are envied, men of wealthy are followed, but only men of courage and confidence are respected and celebrated. May you continue to be favour by God all the days of your life. You shall be celebrated today, tomorrow and forever by God’s grace. We wish you a wonderful celebration and successful tenure in office.
“Ogun Youths Advocate pray that the rest of your journey on this earth shall be characterized by sound health, meaningful long life and immeasurable excellent achievements.
“We join millions in celebrating His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun noiseless and landmark achievements in one year in office and your dynamism at 60.”
The Association also lauded the effort of the first lady, Mrs. Bamidele Abiodun for her unrelenting support during the Covid-19 to its members.
