ILARO, OGUN STATE – SEPTEMBER 18, 2025 – Former Commissioner for Forestry in Ogun State, Engr. Ayo Olubori, has dismissed rumours of any rift between Governor Prince (Dr.) Dapo Abiodun, CON, and Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi), representing Ogun West Senatorial District.
Speaking at the commissioning of constituency projects facilitated by Deputy Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Bolanle Lateefat Ajayi, Olubori stressed that the sheer volume of projects executed by Senator Adeola Yayi across Ogun West and beyond was only possible with the governor’s full support.
“If the governor does not allow, the Senator would not have carried out any projects. By so doing, Governor Abiodun has shown his full support for Senator Adeola Yayi in all his endeavours and future political ambitions,” Olubori said.
The former Commissioner praised Hon. Ajayi’s impressive record in office, noting that he had never seen a legislator accomplish so much within a constituency.
He described her contributions as tangible proof of effective representation.
Olubori further appreciated Governor Abiodun for granting Hon. Ajayi the opportunity to deliver life-changing constituency projects such as open market stalls, classroom blocks, and solar-powered installations across Yewa South.
He lauded the presence of lawmakers, party leaders and stakeholders at the event, describing it as a reflection of the unity and progressive spirit within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State.
The ceremony, attended by traditional rulers, market leaders, and political stakeholders, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to grassroots development and the welfare of the people of Yewa South.
