AIYETORO-YEWA – Founder of the MRS Foundation, Mrs. Ronke Sokefun has solicited broad-based support for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the coming February 25th elections.
Addressing a mammoth crowd of market leaders from across Yewa North Local Government, led by the Iyaloja of Yewaland, Alhaja Yemisi Abass on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, in Ayetoro, Yewa North Local Government, Mrs. Sokefun pointed out that the need for the market leaders to support Tinubu at the next week polls is premised on his track records as Governor of Lagos State, the broad-based acceptance he enjoys nationwide and his capacity to create the right team required to rebuild the Nigeria “of our dreams”.
The former 2-term Commissioner in Ogun State stressed that Tinubu’s unmatchable connection to the grassroots placed him in a better position to meet the yearnings and aspirations of both the young and old and reposition the country and it’s economy.
The meeting had in attendance representatives of the Hausa & Igbo communities, artisans, different commodity traders as well as the (local) leadership of the National Council of Women’s Societies.
