Fidelity Bank Set To Reward Customers In Fresh Promo

Fidelity Bank Plc is set to delight the banking public with the introduction of a fresh savings promo that promises to provide new and existing customers with unique opportunity to win fantastic cash prizes within a specific period.
The promo dubbed ‘Get Alert In Millions Savings Promo Season 3 (GAIM Season 30’ is in line with the Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) financial inclusion policy and seeks to raise requisite awareness on the need for Nigerians to imbibe a savings culture and reward the Bank customers with N110 million.
The bank is also giving about N10 million in terms of air time to customers who opened new accounts in various categories.
For instance, first 200 customers, who open accounts through the bank’s digital platform get 500 air time.
Speaking at a press conference heralding the commencement of the savings promo, the bank’s Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Nnamdi Okonkwo, said the campaign was the eight in the series of promos organised in the last 11 years to reward customers for their unflinching loyalty and patronage.
Okonkwo noted that the promo underscored the bank’s determination to improve the standard of living of Fidelity customers amidst the harsh economic situation in the country.
He explained that the initiative was in line with CBN’s financial inclusion policy to ensure that financial services are available to the unbanked and under-banked in Nigeria.
“Customers are the reasons why we are here; we thank them for believing in us, our half year results which came in with about 27 per cent growth were attestation of having positive customers’ confidence. In terms service we recently launched a digital platform that will see the bank on top in tech world.
“About 80 per cent of our transactions are now done on digital platform. In the coming weeks, we will place emphasis on this service. Our mobile subscription has hit about 1.6 million. We recently introduced a service where you can transfer Foreign Exchange (FOREX) via mobile phones. Our mobile services have been transformed, still obeying the CBN rules. We have also introduced chat banking where you can chat while banking,” he said.
The Executive Director, Shared Services & Products, Chijioke Ugochukwu, said: “We will be giving away a grand prize of N10 million amongst several other mouth-watering prizes. In 2012, we had a Cash & Car Savings promo and we gave out 25 cars and N25 million to mark the Bank’s 25th anniversary.
“We followed this up closely with our Save 4 Scholarship promo in 2014 where we doled out N80 million in scholarships to our teeming customers.
In 2015, we sought to address the housing needs of Nigerians. The Save 4 Shelter promo gave out three duplexes located in Abuja, Port Harcourt and Lagos. Our last promo earlier in the year was the Get Alert In Millions Promo Reloaded.
“To qualify for the grand prize of N10 million, customers are expected to maintain a monthly average balance of N200, 000.
“By opening any of the Bank’s saving account/growing it to N20, 000, customers qualify to take part in the monthly draw to win N2m, N1m and consolation prizes.
“For existing customers should top up savings accounts with incremental of N10, 000 to also qualify
