ADO-EKITI, EKITI STATE, NIGERIA – A coalition of concerned members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State has issued a strong statement rejecting Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s bid for re-election.
In a statement e-signed by Concerned APC Members, Ekiti State, and shared with the media, the group, which includes grassroots members from all 16 local government areas, expressed their dissatisfaction with the governor’s administration.
They argued that the rejection of Oyebanji’s second-term bid is based on his failure to address the needs and aspirations of the people of Ekiti State.
The group also took a swipe at those endorsing Oyebanji’s re-election, claiming that such endorsements are driven by self-interest rather than the genuine welfare of the people.
They accused supporters of the governor’s second-term ambition of attempting to maintain the status quo at the expense of real progress in the state.
