EGBE BOBAGUNTE OKUNRIN AKILE IJEBU CONGRATULATES GOV. DAPO ABIODUN, ON HIS RE-ELECTION

IJEBU ODE – Following the declaration of All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR, as the winner in Ogun State, Egbe Bobagunte (Okunrin) Akile Ijebu has congratulated him on his victory.

According to a release e-signed and made available to StarTrend Int’l magazine and online – www.startrendinternational.com by Gunte Tayo Mabeweje, Akede, Egbe Bobagunte (Okunrin) Akile Ijebu, in his congratulatory message, Otunba Adesanya Yusuf (Giwa Egbe and the Otunba Bobaseilu of Ijebu) on behalf of the age-grade group, said that members are excited by the outcome of the election which returned Abiodun, a member of the group, for a second term in Ogun State for the next four years.

Otunba Yusuf thanked God for the victory which he described as a manifestation of Ogun people who voted across all ethnic divides to ensure Abiodun’s victory.

According to him, Prince Abiodun had always exhibited exemplary qualities of a thoroughbred politician, successful businessman and astute administrator who has driven the economy of Gateway State to an enviable position in his first 4 years as governor of the State.

Otunba Adesanya Yusuf added that the election was a hard-fought victory and in the words of Napoleon Bonaparte “victory belongs to the most persevering” and Prince Dapo Abiodun richly deserves his victory as he persevered despite all odds.

He then prayed for divine wisdom and good health for the second term governor as he again mounts the saddle of leadership in Ogun State, while calling on all sons and daughters of the State to rally round and support the re-elected governor and his administration which promises the return of more responsible and responsive governance.
