Customs Boss, Hameed Ali Takes New Wife, Hajiya Zainab Abdullahi

ABUJA: The celebrated Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Col. Hameed Ali (rtd) took a new wife, Hajiya Zainab Abdullahi at a wedding ceremony that was held over the weekend, and the ceremony of love lacks the usual fanfare as a result of the novel COVID-19 pandemic in the country.

Recall, Hameed Ali’s first wife, Hajiya Hadiza Jummai Ali who was the first lady of Kaduna State when her husband served as a military administrator of the state between 1996 & 1998, died in Abuja on October 2, 2018 at the age of 53 years.

She is survived by her husband, Hameed Ali and four children.

Born January 15, 1955, Hameed Ali, the current Customs CG was the Military Governor of Kaduna State between 1996 & 1998, and after his retirement, he became secretary of the Arewa Consultative Forum, a political and cultural association of leaders in Northern Nigeria.
