AYETORO-YEWA – A Federal lawmaker representing Yewa North, Imeko-Afon Federal Constituency, Hon Olaifa Jimoh Aremu, has appealed to government at all levels to create more job opportunities for Nigerians to curb insecurity.

Olaifa who noted that large population of unemployed youths contributes to high rate of insecurity in Nigeria, stated this while speaking with newsmen in Ayetoro, Yewa North Local Government Area.
OJA as he is fondly called said it was imperative to engage the youths in entrepreneurship skill for maximum security, commending the state government’s agenda to reduce unemployment to the barest minimum across the state.
Also speaking, the Chairman, Police Community Relation Committee (PCRC), Ayetoro Chapter, Mr. Gbenga Oladipe also lend his voice to the federal lawmaker’s, saying “idle hands are the workshop of the devil”.
He however commended South-West Governors for adopting the Community Policing and South Western Security Outfit, code named ‘Amotekun’, a feat which he said, would go a long way in curbing insecurity.
