AKURE: After he was infected and in self isolation, the Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu, has reportedly tested negative for COVID-19.
During his weekly press briefing on Monday, July 6, 2020 confirmed he is now free of coronavirus.
Akeredolu disclosed that doctors confirmed his negative status after running the test twice.
It will be recalled the Governor tested positive for the dreaded COVID-19 disease last week.
His words, “I tested positive for #COVID19,” Mr Akeredolu posted on his Twitter handle, @RotimiAkeredolu last week Tuesday afternoon.
“All is well. I’m asymptomatic and have been self-isolating. Work continues. Your continued prayers over my well being are most appreciated.”
