ABEOKUTA – The Ogun State Government in collaboration with Development Partners in the health sector has said it has begun the administration of the second dose Covid-19 vaccination in line with the guidelines from National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) to residents that have taken the first dose in designated facilities across the State.
A release signed by the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Tomi Coker indicated that the Exercise, which began on Monday, May 24, 2021, will hold through Friday, July 9, 2021 for all residents and clients that have received the first dose with “a minimum of six weeks” and above between the first and second dose.
The statement advised clients to present their vaccination card at Health facilities where they got the first dose to receive the second dose.
It added that implementation of other phases of the COVID-19 vaccination shall be announced as event unfolds.
Residents are enjoined to use opportunity of the exercise to get their second dose vaccination and be protected against the Covid-19 virus.
