Corruption In Nigeria: A Fraternity Beyond Physical – Primate Ayodele

LAGOS, NIGERIA – Primate Elijah Ayodele, the Founder of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has boldly stated that corruption in Nigeria is a deeply rooted fraternity that cannot be eradicated by physical means alone.

According to him, the battle against corruption requires more than just legal frameworks, technology, and law enforcement – it demands spiritual intervention.

In a statement released by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele emphasized that corruption in Nigeria has escalated beyond what conventional methods can address.

He called on the leadership of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to incorporate spiritual strategies in their efforts to combat corruption.

“The EFCC chairman must understand that corruption is not merely a physical issue in Nigeria. Legal suits, guns, and arrests are not enough. It has to be fought spiritually,” Ayodele stated.

Primate Ayodele insisted that without spiritual strength, any attempt to fight corruption will ultimately fail.

He highlighted the need for spiritual fortification as a critical element in winning this battle.

“To truly defeat corruption, you must be highly spiritual. Technology alone cannot win this fight. If you lack spiritual capacity, corruption will overpower you,” the cleric declared.

Despite the complexity of the fight against corruption, Primate Ayodele commended the efforts of EFCC Chairman Ola Olukoyode, acknowledging his dedication to tackling corruption head-on.

However, he also warned that the forces behind corruption are formidable and may retaliate.

“The EFCC chairman has done commendable work. I applaud his commitment and pure intentions toward fighting corruption. But he should be prepared for corruption to fight back – this is not a battle that can be won easily,” Ayodele warned.

The cleric went on to describe the Nigerian system as highly polluted, making the battle against corruption even more challenging.

He suggested that to win the war on corruption, the entire system would need to be dismantled and rebuilt from the ground up.

“The entire system is corrupt, and if we truly want to defeat corruption, we will have to bring Nigeria down to its foundation and start all over. Corruption permeates every sector,” he said, lamenting the grim reality of the situation.

Primate Ayodele expressed concern over the challenges facing the EFCC Chairman, noting that despite his best efforts, powerful forces may continue to undermine his work.

“It’s sad to see that despite the EFCC chairman’s best efforts, the powers that be are frustrating him at every turn,” the cleric remarked, underscoring the uphill battle the agency faces.
