Cleric Counsels Couples As Engr Egbeoluwa’s Son, Adefolu Walks Judith Down The Aisle

LAGOS – A call has gone to couples to be tolerant of each other and guard against undue interference in their relationship.

Pastor Olugbenga Adeoye of Praise Outreach 7th Day Adventist Church gave the advice on Sunday, January 10, 2021, at the wedding reception for Mr. Adefolu Adewunmi Egbeoluwa with former Miss Judith Adedoyin Owolabi at The Oriental Hotel, Lagos-Epe Expressway, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The cleric who was also the Chairman of G7 Industry hinged his speech on Ephesians; Verse 22-24, saying, “Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord.

“For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior.

“Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.”

To further buttress his point, Pastor Adeoye who was the Chairman of the day at the reception also sighted Ephesians verse 25, “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.”

He congratulated the couple and their parents for the success of the union and prayed God to grant the couple a blissful marital life.

Activities for the solemnisation of the Holy Matrimony between Mr. Adefolu Adewunmi Egbeoluwa and former Miss Judith Adedoyin Owolabi started on Saturday, January 9, 2021 with the signing of dotted lines at the Federal Marriage Registry, Ikoyi, Lagos.

The celebration of love between Folu and Doyin continued on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at The Victory Sanctuary Seventh Day Adventist Church, 3, Hunponu Wusu Street, Off Hakeem Dickson Link Road, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, where the couple were joined together as husband and wife.

Thereafter, reception took place at The Oriental Hotel, Lagos-Epe Expressway, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Fielding questions from the crew of StarTrend Int’l, the groom’s father, Chief (Engr.) Adefemi Egbeoluwa expressed his joy and thanked God for the success of the wedding ceremonies.

Egbeoluwa also advised the couple to adhere to the advice given by the Chairman of the occasion, and always respect each other.

The former Director General, Ogun State Bureau of Transportation equally thanked his families, friends and well-wishers for their supports towards the success of the event.

He prayed that God continued to guide and protect the couple in their journey of life.

The ceremonies were graced by crème of the society from within and outside Nigeria.
