The First is still the first. Chief ‘Folake Solanke, SAN, born on March 29,1932 at Oke Ejigbo Area, Abeokuta, Ogun State is the First Lady Chairman of the board of WNTV-WNBS, 1971.

She’s also First Lady Commissioner in the now-defunct Western State of Nigeria (1972): First Lady Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN),1981; First Governor of Zonta International District 18 (Africa)1982 and First non-Caucasian to be elected International President of Zonta International,1992.
