Why BBNaija Winner Phyna Faces Estrangement From Father After Prize Win; Prays Not To Die Young

Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, also known as Phyna, the winner of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) season 7, is currently experiencing a strained relationship with her father.

According to Phyna’s father, she has been unreachable since winning the N100 million grand prize, and he has had difficulty getting in touch with her.

He expressed his concerns, saying, “I haven’t seen Phyna, my daughter, since she won BBNaija ‘Level Up’ edition last year. She hasn’t returned home since then, and I don’t know why. I am a professional hearse driver, and when she won the reality TV show, she asked me to get rid of all my old cars, promising to change my life. But since then, I haven’t seen her, and I don’t have a car anymore. Occasionally, the Vice-Chairman of our association lets me use his car.”

In response to the situation, Phyna broke her silence on her Instagram stories with a prayer, stating that she hopes not to die young. She wrote, “Just one, no… Family, please grant interviews… Nice one. I will not die young.”

She added, “When I pass away, I must not be buried. My body should be given to my family, and the whole world must sit and watch them consume my remains. They must eat my corpse.”
