APC Grand Finale Rally In Yewa South: Ganduje, Akinlade, Others Rally Supports For Candidates In Ogun Local Government Elections

ILARO-YEWA, OGUN STATE, NIGERIA – The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje, has urged eligible voters to come out in large numbers to vote for APC candidates in the local government elections scheduled for Saturday, November 16, 2024.

His appeal came during the grand finale rally for the APC’s Chairmanship and Councilorship campaigns in Yewa South Local Government, held on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at the Nawair-Ur-Deen Primary School Field in Ilaro-Yewa, Ogun State.

Representing Alhaji Ganduje, Hon. Tolu Bankole, a member of the APC’s National Working Committee, expressed confidence in APC’s success, attributing it to the achievements of Governor Dapo Abiodun.

“Governor Abiodun’s performance in road infrastructure and other developments across Ogun’s twenty local government areas will ease victory for APC candidates,” Bankole stated.

Bankole also acknowledged Senator Solomon Olamilekan, popularly known as Yayi, whose contributions to the Ogun West Senatorial district have further boosted APC’s momentum.

The senator’s dedication to the area has, according to Bankole, strengthened support for the party’s candidates in Saturday’s election.

Hon. Akinlade Abiodun Isiaq, representing Yewa South/Ipokia Federal Constituency, also urged Ogun residents to vote for APC candidates for sustained development.

He emphasized the need for people to enjoy democracy’s benefits at the grassroots level, particularly through the long-sought local government autonomy.

Yewa South’s APC Chairman, Alhaji Nojimdeen Adenle, also encouraged voters to support APC on Election Day, promoting the sustained vision of the current administration. “We urge all eligible voters to support APC to uphold the renewed hope of this administration,” Adenle said.

Barrister Abraham Babatunde Ogunsola, the APC’s candidate for Saturday’s election, promised a transparent, open-door policy if elected.

Ogunsola expressed gratitude to Governor Abiodun and other APC leaders for their trust in his leadership, committing to furthering the administration’s initiatives, especially under the “ISEYA Mantra.”

The rally attracted a broad spectrum of leaders from the ten wards in the council area, as well as traditional rulers, religious groups, artisans, and market women. It was a strong display of grassroots support, unity, and community engagement within Yewa South.
