Agosasa Conflict: KLM Sues For Peace, Dialogue

ABUJA – The Honorable representing Egbado South/Ipokia Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon. Kolawole Lawal Mobolorunduro has commiserated with the families of the deceased persons, and those whose houses were burnt or vandalised, in the recent crisis at Agosasa in Ipokia Local government area of Ogun State.

According to a release e-signed and made available to StarTrend Int’l magazine & online – www.startrendinternational.com by Mr. Tunji Olaleye, KLM as fondly called enjoined all warring parties to sheath their swords and allow peace to reign.

He lamented that “it’s unfortunate that lives were lost in a conflict involving brothers from the same communities.”

KLM however called on the people of Agosasa to embrace dialogue and explore all legal options rather than warfare in settling the matter.

He also called on Ogun State government to expedite action and deploy conflict resolution expertise in investigating and resolving the issue as soon as possible.

KLM prayed that God grant the dead eternal rest and give their families the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss, and also replace those whose properties we’re burnt or destroyed.
