Ace Gospel Musician, Dare Melody Gets New Car, Bags Metropolix Recognition Award

IBADAN – Year 2021 seems to be the year of uncommon favour for talented and award-winning gospel singer, Dr. Dare Odunuga, aka Dare Melody.

Just as the year began and everyone is talking about different programmes to embark on, little did this singer know that something great would happen before the end of the year’s first quarter.

Talented Dare Melody just picked a brand new car, a GAC GS4 2020 Model.

The car arrived in the early hours of Monday, March 1, 2021. It was all round jubilation for him and his band crew as Dare Melody took to his social handles to share the good news.

It would be recalled that while coming from a show in Ibadan last year, the artiste’s Toyota Corolla (Muscle) was crushed between two trailers, but no life was lost.

In another development, the acclaimed Olu-Omo of Christian Gospel music, Dare Melody will be honoured on Sunday, March 7, 2021 as the Most Innovative Gospel Artiste of the year 2020.

This is as a result of his unbeatable records, talented efforts which he displayed in the previous year.

With the release of many singles which include two wave making hip-hop tracks, Dare Melody has no doubt, according to an observer of the industry, “remains the most consistent gospel artiste of our time.

“Without any sentiment, Dare Melody remains the very best, because he has totally changed the face of Christian gospel music with the innovations and infusion of hip-hop into the genre.

“Despite the many hurdles, especially the accident that left his car crushed in September 2020, the singer has remained unperturbed as he kept shunning out good music”.

According to Dare Melody, It will be a double celebrations on Sunday, March7, 2021 at his Worship Centre where the award is going to be presented.
