ABEOKUTA, OGUN STATE, NIGERIA – Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Charles Akinola on his recent appointment as Managing Director of the Southwest Development Commission (SWDC).
He described the move by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a strong affirmation of Akinola’s exceptional qualifications and unwavering commitment to the development of the Southwest region.
In a statement released by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Hon. Kayode Akinmade, Governor Abiodun highlighted Dr. Akinola’s impressive background.
A former Chief of Staff to ex-Osun State Governor, Gboyega Oyetola, Akinola is said to bring a wealth of experience and a track record of visionary leadership – qualities the Governor believes are essential for fulfilling the Commission’s mandate and ensuring impactful development across the region.
