Abidat Association Of Ansar-Ud-Deen Society Commends Hamed Family, Extends Ramadan Prayer Visit (+photos)

ILARO-YEWA, OGUN STATE, NIGERIA – The Abidat Association of Ansar-Ud-Deen Society, Ilaro-Yewa Branch, has praised Chief Sebili Alao Hamed, Chairman of the Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria, Ilaro-Yewa Branch, and his brother, Elhadj (Otunba) Abu-Satar Idowu Hamed, the Otun Baaroyin of Ilaro-Yewa, for their unwavering commitment to Islam and their continuous support for its propagation.

During the association’s annual Asalat (Ramadan Prayer) visit to the Hamed family’s residence in Oke-Odo, Ilaro-Yewa, Ogun State, on Sunday, March 23, 2025, the group’s leader, Alhaja Aishat Adebiyi, commended the family for their dedication to the faith and their longstanding support for Islamic initiatives.

In her sermon, Alhaja Adebiyi reflected on Quran 2:274: “Those who spend their wealth (in Allah’s cause) by night and day, in secret and public, they shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.”

She emphasized the importance of generosity in Islam, highlighting the Hamed family’s hospitality and contributions to Islamic activities over the years.

Alhaja Adebiyi encouraged the Hamed family to remain steadfast in their devotion to Allah. She offered heartfelt prayers for their well-being, including blessings upon their spouses, children, grandchildren, and extended relatives, as they embarked on the 2025 Ramadan fasting period.

Expressing gratitude to Allah for His protection and blessings, Alhaja Adebiyi, alongside Alhaja Kabirat Odunewu and other members of the group, conducted a special recitation from the Holy Quran. They prayed for divine favor upon the household, not only during Ramadan but beyond.

Chief Sebili Hamed, who also serves as the President of the Tailoring Association of Nigeria (TAN), Ogun State Chapter, expressed deep appreciation for the association’s love and prayers.

He reciprocated the goodwill, praying for Allah’s continued blessings and protection upon the association’s members and their families.

Elhadj (Otunba) Hamed, the Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of StarTrend Int’l magazine and online platform, also extended his gratitude for the association’s consistent visits and prayers. He prayed for their continued well-being and prosperity.

The prayer session concluded with the members singing Islamic hymns, fostering a spirit of unity and strengthening the bonds of faith and community among all participants.
