ABEOKUTA: In a bid to improve the access to drinkable water, by the people living within the communities of Abeokuta North LG Area, the Chairman, Hon. Prince Babatunde Tella and members of the LG Transition Committee, have enumerated the development plans towards its realization, as part of dividends of democracy, at the grassroots.
According to a press release e-signed by and made available to StarTrend Int’l magazine & www.startrendinternational.com by Adenike Olowe, Information Officer, Abk North Local Govt, Akomoje, Prince Tella, during the inspection of some LG projects, disclosed that his administration had, amongst others, provided portable water to the people of Sabo and Gbagura communities, resuscitated the borehole with water treatment plant at Isaga-Orile.
Also, tthe borehole provided at Ibara Orile would, according to the Chairman, be ready for commissioning, very soon, by the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, adding that the drilling of borehole at Ilugun Orile, Agbo-Afoju and Sabo, would be availableto the people of the area when completed.
Other on-going projects, within the Local Government Area, inspected by the Chairman and members of the Transition Committee, were; a block of VIP toilet at Elega Market, installation of two Solar Energy at the Administrative Building, within the Local Government Secretariat, Akomoje, and Primary Health Center, at Iberekodo.
