Abdul Kolawole Imoyo, Head of Corporate Communication at Access Holdings Group, was more than a seasoned journalist and corporate media manager; he was a beacon of integrity and a paragon of professionalism.

His journey through the corridors of the media world was characterized by an unyielding pursuit of truth, a commitment to ethical journalism, and an innate ability to articulate stories that resonated with the public.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Abdul Kolawole Imoyo was a pillar of support for his colleagues, offering guidance and encouragement that extended well beyond the workplace.

Abdul Kolawole Imoyo distinguished himself as one of the finest Media Managers the industry has ever known.

Beyond his professional prowess, he was a man of God, embodying principles of faith and compassion in every facet of his life.

A complete gentleman, he exemplified integrity, kindness, and a genuine concern for others, leaving an indelible mark on both the media landscape and the hearts of those fortunate enough to cross paths with him.

Aged 52 (Jan. 31, 1971 – December 17, 2023), Abdul’s legacy as a professional, a person of faith, and a true gentleman will undoubtedly endure in the collective memory of all who had the privilege to know him.

His sudden departure on December 17, 2023, at First Cardiology, Ikoyi, Lagos, after a brief illness, has left a void that cannot be easily filled.

The final farewell ceremonies, beginning with the Service of Songs on January 17, 2024, and concluding with the Funeral Service and private interment on January 18, 2024, serve as a collective acknowledgment of the impact Abdul Kolawole Imoyo had on our lives.

In this time of grief, we extend our deepest sympathies to his family, friends, and colleagues. May the memories of Abdul Kolawole Imoyo serve as a source of comfort and inspiration during this difficult period.
