COVID-19: Odeda LG Boss, Lawal, Commends Gov. Abiodun, Concludes Fumigation Exercise

ODEDA LG: The Chairman, Odeda Local Government Transition Committee, Hon. Semiu Bola Lawal, has commended the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, for his numerous and outstanding efforts, geared towards curbing the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, in the state.

      According to a press release e-signed and made available to StarTrend Int’l magazine & www.startrendinternational.com by Dele Ogunyemi, Information Officer, Hon. Semiu, gave the commendation, while monitoring the fumigation of public places, such like, markets, motor parks, palaces, schools, health and religious centers, within the ten wards of the local government area.

The Chairman, expressed his optimism that the aggressive efforts of the state government, to curtail the spread of the life threatening virus, would definitely yield positive results.

Hon. Lawal praised the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, for supplying the necessary materials, equipment and manpower required for the fumigation exercise, as well as the prompt response to the provisions of the first batch of relief materials, to cushion the harsh economic effects of the 14-days stay at home directive of the Federal Government.

The Chairman also expressed his appreciation to the residents of the LG, for their compliance, so far, with the lock down directive, praying that the Coronavirus pandemic would soon be a thing of the past.

Accompanying the Chairman, were members of the LG Transition Committee, HOLGA, Mrs. Tayo Akintomide, members of the LG COVID-19 implementation Committee, Medical/Health personnel and other Principal Officers.
