Ogun Residents Commend Osoba’s For Donating Funds To Constituency

ABEOKUTA: Ogun citizens on Thursday, April 9, 2020, commended Hon. Olumide Osoba for distributing funds and other relief materials to the people of his constituency to cushion the effect of the coronavirus pandemic bedeviling the country.

Amomg other materials, Osoba, representing Abeokuta North/Obafemi Owode/Odeda Federal Constituency of Ogun State had recently donated some cash of money among other releif materials to the people of the constituency as part of efforts to join force with the state government in combating the epidemic.

One of the strategies adopted for distributing the relief materials was Bank transfers to selected less privileged, made up of the aged and the indigent in the constituency.

A release issued prior to the Bank transfers indicated that Hon. Osoba noted that the novel approach was in conformity with the health advisory encouraging social distancing by the people and in conformity with lockdown policy of the government.

The people in the spirit of torrent appreciation poured encomium on Hon. Osoba, describing him as an exemplary leader who serves in the interest of his people.

The Gale of appreciations were recieved from Ward 3, Ago Oko, where one Hon. Adekanbi Rotimi applauded Osoba for the gesture.

Also, Nosiru Ayotunde of Ward 4 of Abeokuta North and one Mr Peter of Moloko Ashipa in Obafemi-Owode, who is enthused about the relief said it couldn’t have come at a better time and paid glowing tributes to Hon. Osoba for the kind gesture.

Others from different wards stressed “We are writing to express our deepest thanks for your recent donations. There is no way to fully express our gratitude for your loyalty. We are continually inspired by the dedication and generosity of donors like yourself who answer the call to give again and again”.

Funmilayo Olaonipekum responding on behalf of the beneficiaries in her domain said: “on behalf of the good people and party members of Ward 4 Abeokuta North local government we appreciate the gesture of Hon Olumide Osoba towards us, May God Almighty continue to enrich your purse”

“We are happy to have benefited from Olumide Osoba relief package. Thank you honourable!” they added.

Youths in Obafemi-Owode in similar vein said “We give thanks to Rt Honorable Olumide Osoba, he is truly Babatunde, Omo Akinrogun.”

It would be recalled that Hon. Olumide Osoba had continually promised to give qualitative representation to his constituents by sharing in their pains and successes at all times.

He advised the people to adhere strictly to the health advisory such as social distancing and personal hygiene in order to stave off the pandemic.
