How Coronavirus Claims Life Of African Football Legend

The ravaging global pandemic – Covid-19 has claimed the life of the Somalia-born former footballer, Abdulkadir Mohamed Farah, aged 59.

According to Somali Football Federation, Farah passed away at a Northwest London Hospital on Tuesday, March 24, 2020, after testing positive to the deadly virus.

SFF President, Abdiqani Said Arab, however, commiserated with the bereaved family on the demise of Farah, who was an advisor to the Minister of Youth and Sport.

Farah was born in the city of Beledweyne, Somalia, about 342 kilometers north of the capital Mogadishu.
