Gov. Abiodun Approves Appointment Of Akintomide As HOLGA

ABEOKUTA: The Executive Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR has approved the appointment of Mrs Akintomide Olutayo Taiwo as Head of Local Government Administration (HOLGA) HAPSS 17 with effect from March 22, 2020.

According to a release signed by the Permanent Secretary, Local Government Service Commission, Dr K. A. M Olabimtan, and made available to StarTrend Int’l magazine & www.startrendinternational.com by Olanrewaju Daud Martins, Information Officer, Local Government Service Commission, the appointment is in conformity with the provisions of the Approved Scheme of Service for Local Government Employees in Nigeria, Fourth Revised Edition (2006).

Mrs. Akintomide holds Master Degree in Public Administration from the University of Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State in 2003, Post- Graduate Diploma in Local Government Studies from the Obafemi Awolowo, Ile- Ife, Osun State in 2015 and Bachelor’s Degree in History from the Ogun State University now Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago- Iwoye in 1988 among others.

Until her appointment, Mrs. Akintomide Olutayo Taiwo was the Director, Information, Education and Sports Department in Yewa South Local Government, Ilaro, Ogun State and she had served in that capacity at various Local Governments in the State.

The Permanent Secretary, while congratulating her on this lofty appointment, charged her to be more diligent and proactive, so as to justify the confidence reposed in her by the Commission.
