ABEOKUTA: The Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ Ogun State Council has expressed its sadness on the demise of another staff of the Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation (OGBC), Mr. Wale Aderinale who died on the early hours of Sunday,January 26, 2020.
According to a press release e-signed by Comrd. Kayode Taiwo and Comrd. Muyiwa Omowumi, Ogun NUJ Caretaker Chairman and Secretary, respectively, and made availabile to StarTrend Int’l magazine & www.startrendinternational.com, the release stated as follows, “We wishe to condole with Management and Staff of OGBC and the entire family of Mr. Wale Aderinale on the demise of a vibrant , astute and erudite Journalist who died during the early hours of Sunday 26th of January 2020.
“It’s a great loss once again to the Broadcasting world, coming two days after the burial activities of the late General Manager of OGBC, Mr. Diji Akinhanmi.”
Late Wale Aderinale was a Poet, Journalist, with many published books and his poems had appeared in different Newspapers in the past.
He was a Director of News at Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation (OGBC) until his death, and he also belongs to many associations including NUJ.
“The Caretaker Committee Ogun NUJ pray that the Lord Almighty put an end to the death of Journalists in the state,” Mr. Taiwo posited.
