Olubadan Elevates Eight Female Chiefs In Iyalode Traditional Chieftaincy Lineage In Ibadanland

IBADAN: Sequel to the recent royal approval granted by His Imperial Majesty, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Kabiyesi Alayeluwa Oba Saliu Adetunji, (Aje Ogungunniso 1) eight female chiefs have been promoted in the traditional chieftaincy lineage in Ibadanland.

Among the newly-elevated chiefs is Chief (Mrs.) Aminat Bolupe Aramide, who was promoted from Bada Iyalode to Gbonnka Iyalode of Ibadanland at an event which took place on Friday September 20, 2019 at the Olubadan Palace, Popo Yemoja Area of Ibadan, Oyo State.
