LAGOS, NIGERIA – Members of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Lagos Chapter, have sent heartfelt congratulations to the National President of the Guild, Alhaji Abubakar Yakubu, following his successful inauguration held on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at the AGN Secretariat in Abuja.
According to a release e-signed and made available to StarTrend Int’l Magazine and its online platform by the Public Relations Officer of AGN Lagos Chapter, Abm. Cornell Udofia, the inauguration signified the dawn of a new era for the Guild.
The chapter expressed confidence that Alhaji Yakubu’s leadership, wealth of experience, and clear vision would propel AGN to greater heights.
The statement also extended warm congratulations to the newly inaugurated members of the National Executive Council, as well as the newly appointed Special Advisers, who are expected to work closely with the National President to ensure a purposeful, united, and successful tenure.

The Lagos Chapter further commended the immediate past National President for his dedication, commitment, and selfless service to the Guild, noting that his efforts in laying and strengthening a formidable structure have provided a solid foundation for sustained progress.
The chapter concluded by once again congratulating the National President and his team, wishing them wisdom, strength, and success as they steer the affairs of the Actors Guild of Nigeria toward a brighter and more prosperous future.
