Oba Olugbenle Honours Late Omooba Adedeji Adewale Son’s Traditional Wedding With His Presence

LAGOS, NIGERIA – The Olu of Ilaro and Paramount Ruler of Yewaland, Oba (Dr.) Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle MFR, Asade Agunloye IV, took time out of his demanding schedule to attend the traditional wedding ceremony of Mr. Adeboye Adebiyi Adewale, son of the late Omooba Adedeji Adesanya Adewale.

The groom exchanged traditional marital vows with his bride, former Miss Oluwagbemisola Adejoun Adedotun, on Saturday, November 22, 2025.

Held at the Grandest Event Center, Buckley Estate, Off U-Turn, Abule-Egba, Lagos, the ceremony drew a distinguished gathering of eminent personalities who travelled from various places to celebrate and support the royal couple.

Among the notable attendees were Oba Olugbenle who is also chairman, Ogun State Council of Obas; the Deputy Governor of Osun State, Prince Kola Adewusi who was the Chairman’ at the event; Elhadj Otunba Abu-Satar Idowu Hamed, the Otun Baaroyin of Ilaro-Yewa; Alhaji (Chief) Hon. Wasiu Olawunmi, the Oluomo of Ilaro-Yewa; members of the Oba Adewale-Tella Agbenuaran Ruling House of Iga Asasi, Ilaro-Yewa, Ogun State; as well as members of the Lami Royal Family of Ogboru Ruling House of Ile-Ife, Osun State and guests of the two royal families, among others.
