ILARO-YEWA, OGUN STATE, NIGERIA – The Governing Council of the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro (FPI), has extended warm congratulations to Oba (Dr.) Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle MFR, the Olu of Ilaro, Paramount Ruler of Yewaland and Chairman, Ogun State Council of Obas, the Olu Ilaro-in-Council and the entire people of Ilaro for the successful hosting of the 2025 Oronna Ilaro Festival.
According to a statement e-signed and released to StarTrend Int’l Magazine and online platform by ‘Deola Adeyemi, Special Assistant to the Paramount Ruler on Media and Strategic Communications, the Council chairman, Bilal Garba Gashua, led the delegation on a courtesy visit to the monarch on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, where he conveyed the Council’s goodwill and admiration for the well-executed cultural celebration.
During the visit, the Council offered prayers for continued divine grace upon Kabiyesi, the throne of Ilaro, and the entire community to witness more prosperous festivals in the years ahead.
Gashua also appealed to the Olu of Ilaro to help convey the Council’s profound appreciation to Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi) for the numerous development projects he has facilitated for the institution.
In response, Oba Olugbenle used the occasion to officially hand over the keys to the market building – constructed through the efforts of Senator Adeola Yayi – to the Polytechnic community through the Council.
