Ekiti First Lady, Prof. Olayemi Oyebanji, Receives Certificate As Grand Matron Of NUJ Information Chapel

ADO-EKITI, EKITI STATE, NIGERIA – The amiable wife of the Ekiti State Governor and First Lady of the State, Associate Professor (Mrs.) Olayemi Oyebanji, has been formally presented with the certificate of office as the Grand Matron of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ekiti State Information Chapel.

The presentation was performed on behalf of the NUJ Information Chapel by the former Chairman of the NUJ Ekiti State Council and Technical Advisor to the Governor on Public Communication (Political), Dr. Tai Oguntayo.

The event attracted notable government functionaries, including the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Abibat Adubiaro; Commissioner for Health, Dr. Oyebanji Filani (who was also honoured at the event); the Special Adviser on Information, Rt. Hon. Taiwo Olatubosun; and Senior Special Adviser, Yinka Oyebode.

In the accompanying photographs, Dr. Oguntayo (in suit) is seen presenting the certificate to Prof. (Mrs.) Oyebanji, while other dignitaries look on.

Dr. Oguntayo is flanked on the extreme left by the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Oyebanji Filani (also an awardee), the Special Adviser on Information, Rt. Hon. Taiwo Olatubosun, and the Senior Special Adviser, Yinka Oyebode.
