According to a statement e-signed and made available to StarTrend Int’l Magazine and its online platform by ’Deola Adeyemi, Special Assistant to the Paramount Ruler on Media and Strategic Communications, this year’s Thanksgiving Service – traditionally the festival’s closing event – was uniquely held a week before the Grand Finale.

During the service, the congregation offered heartfelt prayers for Oba Olugbenle’s continued good health, long reign, and exemplary leadership.
Special prayers were also offered for the peace, growth, and prosperity of Ilaro, Yewaland, and Ogun State as a whole.
The 2025 Oronna Ilaro Festival continues on Monday, November 10, 2025, with a variety of cultural and youth-focused activities throughout the week, culminating in the Grand Finale on Saturday, November 15, 2025.
Oba Olugbenle also congratulated all sons and daughters of Ilaro-Yewa, urging them to participate actively in the weeklong festivities and to celebrate in unity and communal harmony – the hallmark of the Oronna Festival tradition.
