By ABU-SATAR HAMED

HUNTSVILLE, ALABAMA, USA – In celebration of Easter and in a heartfelt message to the Christian faithful in Nigeria and around the world, Pastor Peter Oyediran, the Resident Pastor of RCCG Jesus House in Huntsville, Alabama, USA, extended warm Easter greetings while calling for peace and unity within the body of Christ.

According to a statement e-signed and made available to StarTrend Int’l Magazine by Oluwaseun Fabiyi, Media Aide to Pastor Oyediran, the Easter Sunday service was marked by a spirit of love and reflection. Pastor Oyediran delivered a stirring sermon titled: “He is not here; He has risen!”, inspired by Luke 24:6.

“The grave proved incapable of holding Him, and now it similarly cannot hold us.

“We forego mourning; instead, we dance upon an empty grave. Victory is not expected – it has already been realized. This is Resurrection. This is Jesus”, Pastor Oyediran declared.

Emphasizing the profound role of peace and unity in building a stronger nation and a vibrant Christian community, Pastor Oyediran encouraged believers to embrace the Easter message as a call to renewal and righteousness.

“As we mark the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, let us reflect on the triumph of righteousness over wickedness and the gift of eternal life,” he said.

“May this sacred occasion draw us closer to God and to one another, as we embody the love, compassion, and kindness that Jesus stood for.”

He further noted that Christ’s resurrection served as a beacon of hope, especially in times of hardship and uncertainty.

“Even in the face of adversity, the resurrection reminds us that redemption and renewal are always within reach,” Pastor Oyediran said.

Offering a message of encouragement to Nigerians, he added, “As we celebrate Easter, let us remember the importance of peace and unity in our nation and in every community. Together, we can build a just, equitable, and thriving society.”

Pastor Oyediran prayed for divine blessings upon all, expressing hope that Nigerians would emerge more resilient and united.

“I extend heartfelt greetings to our beloved Daddy G.O., Pastor E.A. Adeboye, and to all fellow pastors laboring in kingdom service.

“May the true spirit of Easter inspire us to serve our churches and communities with unwavering commitment and integrity.

“May God’s peace abide with us all, guiding us in love, compassion, and kindness. Happy Easter!”, he said.
