ILARO-YEWA, OGUN STATE, NIGERIA – The Otun Baaroyin of Ilaro-Yewa, Elhadj (Otunba) Abu-Satar Idowu Hamed, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to HRM Oba (Dr.) Kehinde Gbadewole Adeboye Olugbenle MFR, the Olu of Ilaro and Paramount Ruler of Yewaland, as well as Chairman of the Ogun State Council of Obas, on the occasion of his 13th Coronation Anniversary, on Monday, April 14, 2025.
The Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of StarTrend Int’l magazine and its online platform, Elhadj Abu-Satar Hamed expressed deep joy and prayers for continued peace and prosperity during Oba Olugbenle’s reign.
He stated, “As we mark the 13th Coronation Anniversary of our determined Kabiyesi, I pray that this momentous occasion brings His Majesty and his Royal family lasting joy, peace, and boundless prosperity.”
Reflecting on the past thirteen years of Oba Olugbenle’s leadership as the Olu of Ilaro and Paramount Ruler of Yewaland, Abu-Satar lauded the significant peace and various developmental initiatives that have taken place under his rule.
He described Oba Olugbenle as a gracious and kind-hearted leader, always generous, adding, “Since Kabiyesi ascended the throne, he has defied the old belief that kings are merely receivers and never givers. Regardless of the size, anyone who visits him always leaves with a smile.”
Abu-Satar, who is also the former Chairman of the Federated Chapel of the Ogun State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), emphasized the peace and tranquility that have flourished in Ilaro and Yewaland during Oba Olugbenle’s reign.
He further praised the Oba’s exceptional leadership as Chairman of the Ogun State Council of Obas, noting his dedication and outstanding leadership.
“I am incredibly proud of Oba Olugbenle’s leadership as the Olu of Ilaro and Paramount Ruler of Yewaland. On this 13th Coronation Anniversary, I celebrate His Majesty’s remarkable leadership and wish him many more years of peaceful reign, good health, and happiness,” Abu-Satar remarked.
Otunba Abu-Satar Hamed concluded with a prayer for the people of Yewaland to embrace the virtues exemplified by Oba Olugbenle, believing these qualities will further strengthen the unity of the community.
“The blessings of God upon Yewaland will continue to guide us,” he said. “I call on everyone to nurture compassion, goodwill, and unity within and beyond our land, so that we may achieve our collective goals and continue to thrive.”
